• How to create groups in canvas: Instructor Groups Overview (4 minute 50 second video)

• If you find Canvas Groups don’t meet your needs, contact LTS@boisestate.edu and ask about Sections!

• eCampus Course “Gotcha!”:

  • eCampus will create Group Shells and Assignments in your Canvas Course for you. With this format, add students to the already created groups to maintain this connection.

  • If you create choose to create new groups instead of the already created ones, please note you will have to update the Canvas Assignments to point to the correct Group Set.
