Set a Course Image
Set a Course Image
Instructions
- Navigate to your course's Settings page.
- At the top of the page, you will either see your current course image or a placeholder Choose Image button. Either click on the placeholder button, or click the options icon (three vertical dots) and select Choose Image.
- You will see two different tabs: Computer and Unsplash.
- If you have a specific image from your computer in mind for your course's image, you can drag and drop the image to the page when the Computer tab is open.
- If you know the general idea of an image you'd like, you can search for the image on the Unsplash tab, which provides you with free images that you know you're legally allowed to use.
If you navigate back to your dashboard, you'll notice the image is tinted the color of your course as defined in the course's options menu. This color is local to you – if you change it, students won't see the change. This allows you to color code your courses if you'd like. If you don't like the tint, click the options icon (three vertical dots) at the top of the page and uncheck Color Overlay.
