Environment Changes and App Updates

  • Blackboard Saas / Blackboard is moving to the cloud!!! Here is the system announcement that is posted to Blackboard:

Blackboard Upgrade Announcement

Blackboard will be unavailable beginning at noon on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 through Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 for a planned upgrade.

In an effort to reduce the complexity of Blackboard service management, the goal of this upgrade is to move our current self-hosted instance of Blackboard to the Software as a Service (SaaS) model. This will reduce administrative overhead, eliminate downtime and provide new features and improvements through continuous delivery. All instructor, student and course data will be migrated for you as part of the upgrade. Please continue business as usual.
