Survey Options Settings

When in an individual survey on the left-hand navigation there is a “sliding scales” icon for Survey Options. Within these options, you can make a variety of survey edits in: General, Responses, Security, and Post-Survey.

If you have any Security settings already enabled in existing surveys, please read on. If you use the “RelevantID” functionality in your Qualtrics surveys to help detect fraudulent survey respondents, you will need to update the way it’s set up. As of June 15, 2025, the previous RelevantID technology was replaced. Follow the steps below to re-establish using RelevantID:

  1. In a survey, select the sliding scales icon on the left, and then select Security in the pop-out.

  2. Scroll down until you see the RelevantID section. Even if it looks toggled on (green), toggle it off and on again. There should also be another sub-setting you can make decisions about.

  3. If you use this RelevantID functionality in any workflows, data filters, or reports, you will need to remove the previous set up and then set it up again.

  4. If you do not use RelevantID functionality in any workflows, data filters, or reports, you are done.
