How to Download Blackboard Discussion Forum Posts

You can save discussion forum posts from your Blackboard course as a PDF by following these steps:

1. Access your course in Blackboard.

2. Navigate to the Discussion Boards page.

3. Click on the name of the forum that you wish to save posts from.

4. Use the checkboxes to select the threads you want to save the posts from, or If you want to save all of them, click the box at the top of the page (shown below):

1. Next click on the "Collect" button.

2. All the posts in all of the threads that you selected will display on a single page.

3. You can sort these posts or filter them using the controls at the top of the page.

   • When you are ready to create a PDF of what is now displaying on the page, click Print Preview.

4. Once you have clicked Print Preview, you will get a print dialogue box. There are several options for printing directly to a PDF rather than a hard copy, but these depend on what software you have installed on your computer and your computer's operating system. Microsoft 10 users should find Microsoft Print to PDF in their list of printers.

5. Select a print-to-PDF option from your list of printers and click Print. You will be prompted to save your PDF to your local computer.
