Taking ProctorU Live+ Exams with Guardian Browser

ProctorU Live+ is an exam proctoring service requires scheduling an appointment with a live proctor. Students must have access to a compatible computer with a webcam and microphone to use Live+. You can find a full list of minimum system requirements on ProctorU's website. In order to take ProctorU exams, students must create a ProctorU Test Taker account, as well as download and install Guardian Browser.
Scheduling Live+ Exams
If you do not already have one, Create a ProctorU account and download the Guardian Secure Proctoring Browser.
Login to your ProctorU account and click the Schedule New Session button.
NOTE: Schedule your exam at least 72 hours in advance to avoid additional fees (see pricing information below for additional details).
Confirm your institution, term, and exam name, then click Search Sessions.
Use the calendar and clock features on the left to select your desired testing date and time.
NOTE: If you receive student accommodations through Boise State’s Educational Access Center, please complete this form to have your accommodation notes listed on your ProctorU Account. No personal information will be shared. The accommodation notes will consist only of specific permissions (e.g. “water breaks permitted”).
ProctorU Live+ Student Fees
Students must pay the proctoring fees at the time of scheduling. To avoid On-Demand Scheduling charges, please be sure to schedule or reschedule any online proctoring reservation more than 72 hours in advance.

To avoid On-Demand Scheduling charges, please be sure to schedule or reschedule any proctoring reservation more than 72 hours in advance. Students who schedule an appointment between 72 hours to 24 hours ahead of the exam will incur an additional “Take it Soon” fee of $8.00. Students who schedule exams less than 24 hours from the start time will incur an additional $12.00 fee.
