Navigating the Blue Homepage (Leadership/Admin)
The Blue course evaluation software was upgraded in January 2026. This article summarizes the new features available on your administrative homepage.
Leadership/Admin Homepage Layout (Desktop Display)
The Blue homepage uses widgets to organize course evaluation information. The sample desktop homepage image reviews the features and tools available to you—mobile views vary based on the screen size of your device (skip to mobile).
If you are also actively facilitating a course, the new faculty homepage preview provides a more in-depth overview of the homepage widgets you are likely to experience including accessing reports from the homepage.
Leadership/Admin Features (Desktop Display)
Profile icon: Sign out.
Global announcements: Messages from Boise State software admins with option to close or hide until the next, new announcement is posted.
Profile personalization: Hover over the profile widget to personalize. Your display name, profile picture, or bio can only be seen by you.
Bookmarks: Up to three bookmarked items will display here for easy access or view all bookmarks by clicking/tapping the Bookmarks link at the top of the homepage.
Task progress: If you are actively delivering a course that is evaluated, you will see task progress here.
My reports: Displays only if you have reports associated with your user profile. Click/tap on the course name to open the corresponding report. Use the More Option menu (three dots) near the course name to view or download the PDF or CSV report (not displayed in the screenshot).
View all reports: Click/tap this link or the Reports link at the top of the homepage to view all reports associated with your user profile. From the reports page, use filters to access specific reports and click/tap course names to open reports or use the PDF or CSV icon buttons to download course evaluation reports.
Blue 9 handles reports differently than in Blue 8. Instead of a “folder” with all section-instructor reports for a given term, each individual report will be listed, which may not be suitable to your needs.
Discover more about the differences (and new features!) to expect when accessing reports in Blue 9 in our Blue 9 - New Reports Page article.
Leadership/Admin Homepage Layout (Mobile Display)
On mobile devices, most features can be accessed through the menu. Features function similarly to what’s outlined in the desktop features (return to desktop display).
