Discussion Checkpoints in Canvas

In January 2025, Canvas unveiled a much-awaited feature: Discussion Checkpoints. This feature helps to give due dates for both initial and reply posts to reduce student discussion due date confusion. Learning Technology Solutions are waiting to turn Discussion Checkpoints on until improvements are made to the feature. Once the tool is usable, we will turn it on in all of Boise State Canvas and send out communication and documentation.
