How to Sync Exam Data Using the ProctorU LTI Tool in Canvas
Summary
If you have a ProctorU Record+ exam that was configured through Canvas using the ProctorU LTI 1.3 tool, you might be making last-minute updates to your quiz settings. This includes adjustments to exam duration, exam window, or exam name. Any changes that are made to the exam settings within Canvas must be manually synced to the ProctorU platform. To sync your exam settings, please reference the following steps.

Instructions
Update any exam settings within Canvas.
Please reference the following article for instructions on Providing Additional Attempts, Deadline Extensions, and Accommodations for ProctorU Tests.
Once your desired adjustments have been set, navigate to the ProctorU LTI 1.3 tool located within the Course Navigation Menu on the left-hand side of the Canvas course page.
Once prompted, select Continue to Instructor Interface, which will automatically populate your instructor ProctorU account via a pop-up box on the screen.
If the credentials on the screen contain the correct information, select the blue Authorize button.
Select the Proctored Exams tab within the tool, which will list out all exams within the Canvas course that have been configured with ProctorU.
Select the gear icon next to the exam you have adjusted.
Press Sync Exam Data to update your exam on ProctorU.
If you receive an error message when attempting to sync your exam data, please ensure that the exam availability times and exam duration both end within a 15-minute increment.
